Who Should Apply

Program Overview

Federal Work-Study Research Assistants

Faculty and Staff submit as mentors. Undergraduate students as Research Assistants.

Undergraduate students awarded Federal Work-Study may use their award to work with faculty, staff, and university programs on research and creative projects.

Undergraduate Research Scholars Program (URSP)

An Undergraduate student with the assistance of a faculty, staff, or graduate student mentor.

The Undergraduate Research Scholars Program (URSP) is designed to give undergraduates an authentic research, creative, or scholarly experience under the guidance of a mentor.

Undergraduate Student Travel Fund (USTF)

An Undergraduate student or a group of students.

The Undergraduate Student Travel Fund (USTF) supports scholarly related travel for undergraduate students presenting their research or creative activities off campus.

Faculty teaching MI, RS, ENTR, and CECL classes.

MICRO grants fund supplies, equipment, or other expenses for the course.

Undergraduate students completing projects.

The MINI Grants fund supplies and equipment for students or groups of students completing a research or creative project as part of any Mason-sponsored activity.

Summer Team Impact Projects (STIP)

A team of faculty, staff, and graduate students who want to mentor undergraduate students in tackling a global challenge.

Students can apply to work on a specific Summer Team Impact Project, giving those chosen a chance to work on a faculty lead project.
