Free membership to the Council on Undergraduate Research

Helping with writing, recruitment, and services offered by OSCAR for extramural grant proposals including undergraduates
Open to:
Undergraduate students on any campus in any major any year! Any socioeconomic status, race or ethnicity, immigration status, sexual orientation, or gender identity!

Enrolled as an undergraduate at one of the Mason campuses

In good standing (no minimum GPA but students should be in good academic standing)

Any major

The project does not have to match your major (i.e., a Physics student wrote a musical, a Biology Student did a sociology project, etc.)

Find a project that interests you, even if it’s not what you plan to do for the rest of your life

Come to our office to talk to an OSCAR Peer Leader, an undergraduate student who has done research at Mason. OSCAR Peer Leader drop-in hours are as follows:
Monday : 9:30AM - 10:30AM
Tuesday : 12:00PM - 4:30PM
Wednesday : 9:30AM - 12:00PM, 1:00PM - 5:00PM
Thursday : 11:00AM - 4:00PM
Friday : 9:30AM - 10:30AM, 12:00PM - 5:00PM
